The Carnaval Glass Association of Quebec is the only French-language association promoting carnival glass in North America.
It brings together some 50 active members some of whom are since the 80s-90s, making them experts. Each meeting is an opportunity to socialize and have fun between people sharing the same passion.
Carnival Glass Association of Quebec, a non-profit siciety, was born June 18, 1986. Its founding officers, Yvan and Edward Beaudry Plover, several collectors have wanted to gather for exchange of information and the presentation of beautiful pieces periodically.
During its 33 years of existence, the Association has seen 6 presidents and each one, in his own way, participated in its development and to its image spreading. Either by its newspapers articles, its television ads or antique show participation, its regular meetings throughout the entire province of Quebec, or its quarterly newspaper that was born at the same time as the Association was founded, the AVCQ is well known in the industry as an active and dynamic association that has succeeded through the years to keep its members interest.
